Sensors, Stopscrews and Shock Absorbers
for Automation Components

Stopscrews with fine threads for precise stroke adjustments are available in threads and lengths to fit all components, and are included with components where applicable.

Proximity type sensing switches are available to provide end-of-stroke sensing, and fit all provided stopscrew sizes. Switches include quick-disconnect cables. A pneumatic sensing switch is also available.

Barrington Automation shock absorbers are used to smoothly decelerate loads at the end of stroke.They prevent rebound of linear and rotary units by bringing them to a gentle halt with less wear on the stops and components.  Shocks should be adjusted so that they are not used as the final stop.  Use hardened stopscrews for this purpose.
